The About our games
Every game at The Pines is our own. We design and build them in-house and host them on our own server, so they load directly into the player on each game page, with no downloads and no third-party adverts. There are 27 games in the collection, each with its own setting and bonus features, from ocean dives and Norse storms to tea plantations and neon cities.
All games work on phones, tablets and computers, logged in or not. On a phone, tap Full screen under the player for the best view.
Your account and logging in
Sign up with an email address and password, or with Google. An account is optional; it adds a coin balance, XP, levels, a daily gift and a list of your recent games.
- You stay logged in through a secure session cookie that page scripts can't read.
- Five wrong passwords in a row lock the account for 15 minutes.

How your details are protected
Every form at The Pines is server-based. When you sign up, log in or send a message, the form goes straight to our own server, which checks it and then saves or sends it. Your account details are never written into the website's pages and never shown to other visitors.
- Passwords are only ever stored as one-way hashes, never as plain text, and never appear in logs or emails.
- Account files live in a private part of the server that can't be opened from the web.
- Messages reach our team over an encrypted connection.
- HTTPS protects everything between your device and our server.
- Payment details are never requested, because nothing is for sale.

Frequently asked questions
Will I ever have to pay?
Never. Every game is free and there's nothing to buy. Coins are virtual, have no cash value and can't be withdrawn.
Do I need an account to play?
No. Every game plays as a guest. An account adds a coin balance, XP, levels, a daily gift and your recently played list.
How do I get more coins?
You start with 50,000 coins, and every 24 hours you can collect a free 10,000-coin daily gift on your account page.
How do the levels work?
You earn XP for signing up, collecting your daily gift and opening games while logged in. There are seven levels, from Seedling to Old Pine.
I've forgotten my password.
Send the contact form with the topic Forgot password. We'll check the account is yours and help you set a new one.
A game won't load.
Try Reload game under the player, check your connection and try a different browser. Still stuck? Tell us which game and device through the contact form.
How do I delete my account?
Log in, open your account page and use Delete account near the bottom. Your account file is removed from our server straight away.
Is my information safe?
Yes. Forms are handled on our server, passwords are stored as one-way hashes, account files are closed to the public and the site uses HTTPS throughout. See the privacy policy for details.
